About me

Hi! I am Yuli Nazarov, born in Eastern Siberia in 1960. Since 1995, I work in TU Delft. My field is Theoretical Physics. My main achievements and activities are in the field of Quantum Transport, that studies quantum properties of electrons and more exotic particles in the context of artificially made nano-devices, and thus brings the abstract and intriguing concepts of quantum mechanics in the context of applications. I like the field: there’s so much to do! I am the author of 280 scientific articles, that have been cited 11.137 times. My h-index equals 56.

I wrote two big books: Quantum Transport: Introduction to NanoScience and Advanced Quantum Mechanics: A Practical Guide with Jeroen Danon, that present the stuff at master student level. I use these books in my educational activities.

At present, there are 8 post-docs and Ph.D. students in my group. Most support comes from my ERC Advanced Grant that adresses the topological properties of quantum states in multi-terminal superconducting nanostructures.
